Career Readiness Course: For 12th grade students who are eager to graduate with a professional resume, LinkedIn, understanding of networking & how to navigate the interview process from application to salary negotiation.

The Fall 2025 course will begin after the start of the school year for those in the Denver Metro area on schedule to graduate May 2026.
Class size is limited to 10 students. Applications for interested students open August 3rd, 2025 & will close August 31st, 2025.

Course Overview
Week 1 - Introduction & Career Pathways
Explore various career paths by discussing how aligning what you enjoy doing can translate to a career. We will look at full time, part time & freelance/gig economy routes.
Week 2 - Building your Brand
Learn how to stand out in entry level markets - create with us your LinkedIn profiles & social media. Learn what channels are best for you to work with based on job type.
Week 3 - Resume Creation
Create effective resumes for your specific career type. We will go over tips & tricks for applying to jobs online, and how to land the interview itself.
Week 4 - Interview Essentials
Develop essential interview skills, including preparation techniques, common questions, answers, follow up tips & salary negotiation.
Week 5 - Networking
Explore the importance of networking, learning how to build meaningful professional connections and leverage these relationships for career growth and opportunities.
